Lundi 7 Heures (so named due to their habit of jamming at 7 o’clock on Mondays) will sing 23 songs at the one-night show in Hanoi, after which they will move on to Hue and HCM City. Most of their songs are in French and led by conductor Pierre Huwiler.

Established in 1999, the group includes 16 singers and has produced three CDs in the past decade.

Pierre Huwiler, is a writer, editor and the group’s manager. He has composed over 200 songs and currently leads four famous groups in the French speaking Swiss community including Lundi 7 Heures.

He has worked with many orchestras in Israel, Latvia, France, Montreal, Brazil, Britain, Colombia and Switzerland.

Lundi 7 Heures usually performs French songs by famous singers – Papa, Maman (Georges Brassens), Emmenez-moi (Charles Aznavour) and Amsterdam (Jacques Brel).

The group has performed around the world including Russia, France, Brazil, Bolivia, Germany, Spain and Canada
